This is discovering why we want to be mindful in the first place. It's learning what it is, identifying our questions about it. It's finding teachers and media for expanding the habits of practice.
Until we learn what mindfulness is, we don't know how mindless we are as we go through our daily routines, challenges and intentions. We don't know how much of life we miss. A mindful mind is full of wonder about what we don't know, not a mind full of what we already know.
