About seven years ago I did my first one week book, beginning on a Friday and completing the following Friday. Today I completed my second one week book. I could just as easily and accurately say that the book took 63 years. It's a great exercise in the value of working intensively on a new body of work.
It's called Focus. It's about the simple power of focus in our work.
The context is the observation that in any organization, people do the best they can based on the quality of attention at the time. Every realized intention happens when people are focused. Focus is everything. Drawing from the neurosciences and positive psychology, I outline what it means to be focused and how to practice focus in every dimension of our work.
The book will be available in the next 6 weeks.
