How Seriously Should We Take "Personality Types?"

Introverted, extroverted, analytical, intuitive, creative, practical. Because we have preferences doesn't mean we lack any of these skills. Because we might be better at one polarity than the other, doesn't mean the other doesn't exist. Most importantly, we now know from neuroscience that the brain is plastic and can reshape our brain, and even our genetic expression if we're still wondering if personality is genetically and immutably wired.

We are more skillful and resilient when we engage both sides of our styles polarities. We no longer need to be falsely constrained by a personal narrative about needing to go through life half of who we could be.
