Virtual work

A recent Fast Company piece on virtual work suggests that the big prerequisite is not about technology or accountability structures. It's about building a culture of shared trustworthiness. This means shared explicit and often revisited agreements on transparency, collaboration and governance.

It's not my experience that a localized environment guarantees these. They just become more evident in virtual environments. 99% of people already virtually access connectivity to their teams and clients and partners at work.  All we need are ongoing adult conversations about how to make it all work for the good of all.
